President Yang Song meets with a delegation from Seoul National University of Education in South Korea
On September 25th, President Yang Song met with a delegation of nine people led by President Zhang Xinhao of Seoul National University of Education in South Korea at the school's international conference center. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and signed a memorandum of cooperation on educational exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. Vice President Tong Yuping, Dean of the School of Teacher Education Lin Linan, Deputy Director of the Discipline and Planning Department Gao Jun, Deputy Director of the School of Preschool and Elementary Education He Jingwen, and Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department Hu Bo accompanied the meeting.
Yang Song warmly welcomed the visit of Zhang Xinhao and his delegation, and briefly introduced the situation of the school. She stated that as one of the two undergraduate normal universities established earlier in Northeast China, our school has significant advantages in primary and secondary school teacher training in Liaoning and even the whole country. The graduates we have trained are spread all over the country. She hopes to take this exchange as an opportunity to explore the entry point for educational exchange and cooperation between the two schools, fully leverage their advantages in basic education teacher training, and carry out teacher research cooperation and student exchanges.
Zhang Xinhao expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of our school and introduced the overview of Seoul National University of Education. He stated that Seoul National University of Education, as a national university specialized in training primary school teachers and focusing on educational research, has trained countless selfless educators for South Korea. The school has a rich level of education and a complete range of majors. He hopes to deepen cooperation with our university in the joint training of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral talents, establish a stable cooperation model, and make greater contributions to the construction of high-level teaching staff in both countries.
Before the meeting, Zhang Xinhao and his delegation from Seoul National University of Education visited the Liaoning Museum of Paleontology, the Teacher Vocational Skills Training Center, and the Training Room of the College of Preschool and Elementary Education.
