Our school carries out safety education and training for the 2025 freshmen

Build a strong security line and safeguard the growth of youth. In order to fully implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, solidly promote the enrollment education of new students, and enhance their safety awareness and psychological adaptability, our school carefully organized a new student safety education and training at Xingye Hall on September 27th. Li Hongjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Lu Quan, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of the Party Committee, responsible persons of the Party Committee's Student Work Department, Party Committee Security Work Department, and Psychological Health Development Guidance Center, as well as all new student counselors and undergraduate students of 2025, participated in the training together.

Psychological Health Education: Empowering Spiritual Growth

Xu Kai, director of the School Mental Health Development Guidance Center, gave a special lecture entitled Active Adaptation, Active Development. She starts with the psychological challenges faced by freshmen after entering the school, such as environmental adaptation anxiety and changes in learning methods. She cleverly uses typical case analysis and on-site interactive communication to guide students to accurately anchor personal goals, scientifically optimize learning methods, and efficiently utilize on campus and off campus resources. She focuses on cultivating strong psychological resilience and excellent social and emotional abilities, laying a solid foundation for mental health in university life.

Popularization of safety knowledge: safeguarding campus safety

The school invited police officers Yu Jiaxin from Zhengliang Police Station of Shenbei New District Branch of Shenyang Public Security Bureau and Zheng Taozhi, the first level police chief of Shenyang Public Security Bureau Criminal Investigation Detachment (Investigation Center), to give special lectures entitled Building a Strong Security Line and Writing a Youthful Chapter and Anti fraud is a Compulsory Course. Building a Strong Defense Line and Guarding Responsibilities. Yu Jiaxin systematically explained to the students the legal costs of campus conflicts, dormitory anti-theft techniques, traffic safety rules, and network information protection through case analysis, legal interpretation, and scenario simulation, focusing on three dimensions of personal safety, property safety, and comprehensive safety. Zheng Tao focuses directly on the high incidence of telecommunications network fraud types, deeply disassembling typical fraud tricks and techniques such as brushing orders for rebates, false shopping, impersonating customer service for refunds, etc., warning new students to enhance their ability to recognize and prevent fraud, and firmly safeguard their personal property security defense line.

Firefighting practical exercise: honing emergency skills

With Lu Quan announcing the start of the fire drill, the tense and orderly fire emergency evacuation drill officially kicked off. The freshmen quickly reacted in a simulated smoke environment and evacuated in an orderly manner along the predetermined route to a safe area. After all the students were evacuated, firefighters quickly carried out a search and rescue drill, carefully assisting and transferring the students who were trapped and injured to the rescue area, and closely cooperating with medical staff to carry out professional simulated rescue. Subsequently, the fire instructor explained the essentials of operating the fire hose, the working principle, operation steps, and precautions of the fire extinguisher on site, demonstrating and guiding the correct use and operation skills of the fire hydrant and fire extinguisher. On site teachers and students carefully observed and learned, actively participated in practice, and experienced the firefighting operation of fire water guns and fire extinguishers. This immersive drill mode allows students to transform abstract fire safety knowledge into intuitive, practical, and usable operational skills.

This centralized safety education and training adopts a fusion mode of theoretical preaching and real-life exercises, covering multiple safety fields such as mental health and safety, campus security, telecommunications anti fraud, fire emergency, etc. It effectively strengthens the safety awareness and self-protection ability of new students, effectively enhances the pertinence and effectiveness of enrollment education, and builds a solid barrier for building a safe, stable, and harmonious campus environment.
