Scientific Researches

Adhering to the educational philosophy of innovation in science and technology, the university continuously strengthens its core competitiveness in scientific research. According to the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database statistics released by Clarivate Analytics in July 2024, the chemistry discipline of the university has entered the top 1% of the global ranking , marking another breakthrough in discipline construction. It currently has 80 provincial-level and above scientific research innovation platforms.The university holds 89 valid authorized patents and has published eight academic papers in top international journals such as Nature, Science, and their sub-journals. School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has established research partnerships with universities including Jagiellonian University (Poland), Kazakh-British Technical University (Kazakhstan), and Karaganda Buketov University (Kazakhstan) to establish the Belt and Road International Joint Research Center for Energy and Environmental Catalysis, a ministerial-level international sci-tech organization cooperation platform.Under the international cooperation, it secured approval for the National Key Research and Development Program project under the Intergovernmental International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation key special project. In 2023, the Foreign Affairs and Law Research Institute was selected as one of the first batch of innovative bases for collaborative training of international legal talents by Ministry of Education, China. It has initiated the establishment of the China Eurasia University Law Education Sub Alliancecomposed of 12 universities from four countries, and has conducted academic exchange activities with more than ten foreign universities such as the University of Alicante in Spain, ChelyabinskState University in Russia, and Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.
